  • Minimum of two (2) years of appropriate and relevant professional experience working in a federal program or similar related program for disadvantaged and at-risk students.
  • Counseling experience in a community college or four-year institution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized and comprehensive counseling to Student Support Services students.
  • Develop personalized plans of service to meet students' needs and promote self-concept and self-esteem.
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions and organize seminars/workshops on academic, personal, social, and career topics.
