Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in education, School Counseling, or a related field required.
• Meets Georgia state certification requirements for school guidance and counseling.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to work with students, staff, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive developmental program of guidance and counseling for academic achievement, career/educational planning and personal development.
• Consult with parents, teachers, administrators, and agencies on student needs and abilities.
• Collect and review data to inform the school counseling program and report on its impact.
