Job summary

Brooke Charter Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Student Support Coordinator) to build strong relationships with students, support their academic growth, and help them develop their identities as learners and individuals. You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure accommodations, participate in IEP and 504 meetings, and deliver daily support classes in math, science, and literacy.

Salaries range from $74,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, with an additional $3,300

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in special education or valid teaching license.
• Knowledge of federal and state special education laws.
• Commitment to anti-racist practices and diversity.
• Ability to start in July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach daily support classes in Math, Science, Life Skills, and/or Literacy.
• Attend and contribute to IEP and 504 meetings.
• Develop and implement intervention plans for students with disabilities.
• Draft, implement, and maintain IEPs and 504 plans.
