Job summary

Brooke Charter Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Student Support Coordinator) to support students with comprehensive math, science, life skills and literacy instruction. You will drive accommodations, develop interventions, and participate in IEP/504 processes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Special Education license or degree and apply knowledge of ABA and federal/state law to foster inclusive, anti-racist practices and student growth. Salary ranges with experience.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or a valid Special Education teaching license.
• Working knowledge of federal and state special education laws.
• Familiarity with ABA concepts and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Teach daily support classes in math, science, life skills and literacy.
• Draft, implement and maintain IEPs and 504 plans.
• Attend and contribute to IEP/504 meetings and child study team meetings.
• Participate in ongoing professional development.
