Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 Maple Grove Middle School in Maple Grove, MN is seeking an Educational Support Professional (Clerical) to supervise students in non-academic settings and assist clerical duties.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 7:00am–1:30pm, 6 hours per day (30 hours/week). Prior experience with Microsoft Office and Google Drive is helpful, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to type, maintain records and file.
• Computer experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and respectful environment in the lunch room, hallways, during recess, and study hall.
• Assist with exit/entrance during fire drills and daycare buses.
• Supervise students taking tests.
• Process copy requests from staff.
• Assist with preparation of and distribution of teacher sub folders.
• Prepare materials for classroom projects.
• Prepare materials for students and families.
• Greet visitors and staff, issue passes and directions.
• Answer and transfer phone calls.
• Schedule appointments and maintain screening records.
• Request community education permits.
• Create and maintain relevant data (attendance, fees, schedules, etc.).
• Maintain and organize copy rooms and supply rooms.
