Job summary

enCircle in Bristol, VA seeks a Student Support Professional to collaborate with administrators and teaching staff to implement positive behavioral interventions and lead small groups. The role also involves responding to student crises and collecting and graphing student data to inform supports.

The position supports physical and wellness activities, requires a relevant bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and driving eligibility. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related human services field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience with families and children.
• Valid Virginia Driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Practice crisis management involving students K-12 and diverse needs.
• Assess crisis level to determine interventions and plan.
• Facilitate weekly groups for multiple grade levels and lead after school programs.
• Engage parents and document progress with behaviors and data.
• Maintain records and collaborate with staff to align with IEP goals.
