enCircle in Wytheville, VA is hiring an Educational Aide to provide behavioral and academic support in a private day school setting. You will assist teachers and help students with daily classroom and community-based instruction.

The position requires driving with a clean record and a 10-month assignment. Candidates should have basic computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Office; safety certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires driving; must have a clean driving record.
• 1 year of experience working with children preferred.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and support staff in educational settings.
• Implement behavior strategies and collect data as requested.
• Provide academic assistance to students as directed by teacher.
• Maintain a safe and supportive school environment.
• Attend meetings as requested (staff, parent, IEP).
• With training, obtain Safety Care certification and de-escalate behaviors.
• Arrive on time and communicate professionally.
