Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Student Support Services/Truancy Intervention staff member in DeKalb County, IL. You'll handle referrals, conduct intake assessments, and provide direct support through counseling, mentoring, and ongoing attendance monitoring.

The role requires collaboration with school staff, social workers, and families to develop intervention plans, participate in MTSS/IEP meetings, and support community engagement efforts. A 35-hour work week and 12-month commitment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in social services or education settings.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate sensitive conversations.

Responsibilities

• Receive referrals and conduct intake meetings for students and families.
• Provide academic counseling, mentoring, and attendance monitoring.
• Coordinate case management, progress notes, and follow-up for caseloads.
