This full-time, in-office role requires handling attendance investigations, family outreach, and truancy interventions while collaborating with teachers and administrators. The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or GED, at least 2 years of truancy experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and two years of truancy experience or equivalent.
• Ability to pass required background check.
• Knowledge of state school attendance laws and K-12 education.
• Familiarity with online learning environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate school-wide attendance efforts and absenteeism prevention.
• Monitor student adherence to attendance policies with teachers.
• Contact families via email/call/auto-dial for attendance interventions.
• Attend truancy meetings with school administrators.
• Ensure compliance with state attendance requirements and logins.
• Produce attendance/truancy reports for school, county and state.
