Job summary

Arizona Call-A-Teen Youth Resources, Inc is seeking a Student Support & Operations Coordinator to oversee front office operations, support enrollment and registration, and help maintain student records while ensuring compliance with ADE requirements.

The role interfaces with Principal, Student Services Manager, teachers, and staff to sustain a welcoming and organized environment that promotes student success.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or coursework in Education, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in school administration, office management, student services, education, human services, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, student information systems, and office technology.

Job description

The Student Support & Operations Coordinator is a vital role in supporting student success through exceptional customer service, student engagement, enrollment support, administrative operations, and compliance activities. This position serves as a key liaison between students, families, teachers, and school leadership, ensuring a welcoming, supportive, and organized environment that promotes student persistence and achievement.

The Student Support & Operations Coordinator with ACYR's mission of building pathways to success through education, skill development, and employment opportunities, fosters positive relationships with youth and young adults while providing operational and student support services that contribute to a culture of hospitality, growth, and excellence.

The Student Support & Operations Coordinator is responsible for maintaining student records, managing enrollment and registration processes, supporting attendance and academic progress tracking, and ensuring compliance with Arizona Department of Education (ADE) requirements and school procedures. This position works closely with the Principal, Student Services Manager, teachers, and enrollment and engagement staff to provide both administrative and programmatic support.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, compassionate, and adaptable. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions, possess strong problem‑solving skills, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to helping students overcome barriers and achieve their educational goals. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors in related field or a minimum of 1 year experience in related field
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with student enrollment, registration, attendance, records management, or registrar functions.
  • Experience supporting Arizona Department of Education (ADE) compliance, reporting, or school operations.
  • Experience working with alternative education programs, charter schools, or youth-serving organizations.
  • Knowledge of community resources, workforce development programs, and social service systems.
  • Experience coordinating projects, office operations, or administrative functions with minimal supervision.
Certification / Licenses / Other Requirements

Must possess a valid Arizona Level I IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Must have a valid Arizona Driver License.

Must have access to an insured personal vehicle and be able to use it for agency‑related business as required by Arizona Center for Youth Resources (ACYR).

Must have a reputation for honesty and trustworthiness. Misdemeanor and/or felony convictions may be disqualifying depending on type, number, severity, and how recent. The background check will consist of reference checks, employment, education, and criminal background search.

ACYR is an at‑will employer and any offer of employment with ACYR is contingent upon a successful completion of said background check.
