Job summary

Cimarron Springs Middle School in Surprise, AZ is seeking a part-time School Aide (CSMS) to support daily school operations under the Principal. This 0.65 FTE non-benefited position runs on a 185-day calendar.

Duties include supervising students in the cafeteria and on the playground, assisting on campus, delivering customer service to staff and families, and maintaining confidentiality. A high school diploma or GED and AZ IVP fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with school-age children preferred.
• AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in cafeteria and on playground.
• Assist on school campus as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to staff, students, families and vendors.
• Establish and maintain rapport with students, employees and the community.
• Provide front office support and answer phones.
• Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality.
• Work assigned to on-campus reassignment room (OCR).
• Other duties as assigned.
