Job summary

Township High School District 211 in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Student Supervisor for a part-time role. You will monitor student behavior in hallways, cafeterias and other areas, check entrances/exits, and help direct visitors.

Shifts run from 10 AM to 2 PM, four hours per day, on a 10-month schedule. Under the supervision of the Assistant Principal Teresa Brandt, you will enforce school rules, respond to emergencies, and help coordinate safety during alarms and drills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student behavior and movement in hallways, cafeterias and locker rooms.
• Check entrances and exits regularly.
• Check bathrooms before school, after school and each hour during the school day.
• Help direct visitors entering the school.
• Escort students from their class as requested by Administrators.
• Help direct students during fire alarms and lock downs.

STUDENT SUPERVISOR

TIMES OF SHIFT: 10 AM to 2 PM

HOURS: PT- 4 Hours

The supervisor will be expected to perform such duties assigned by the Administrator in designed areas: hall locations, common areas, cafeteria, washrooms, locker rooms, outside areas and parking lots.

SUPERVISION

The Student Supervisors are under the supervision of the Assistant Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

10-month. Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
