Job summary

Sodexo at SOUTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY is seeking a Student Supervisor to lead fellow student workers in food operations across campus locations. The role reports to on-site management and serves as a working lead during shifts.

You'll coordinate assignments, assist with orientation, oversee timecards and schedules, and ensure a safe, team‑oriented work environment while maintaining reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student at the school of the work location Sodexo is partnering with.
• Some previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign responsibilities for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management.
• Perform day-to-day assignments in addition to supervision duties.
• Assist in orientation and training of student employees.
• Oversee student uniforms, timecards, work schedules and staffing.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
