Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 2.75, Subject area 3.0; Preferred UCA GPA 3.5.
• Preferred minimum 30 credit hours completed.
• Completion of at least 1 semester at UCA, preferred 2 semesters at UCA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a student employee for an entire semester, exhibit a professional, positive attitude.
• Recognize that students are always responsible for doing their own work; at no time are student employees to do the work for the student.
• Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.
• Keep confidences (confidentiality statement required).
• Be on duty during assigned working hours. (arrive and leave on time)
• Student employees model good study habits and effective study strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student meetings and contact.
• Assist Student Success Services in special events and programs.
• Training Requirements: Student Success employees will meet regularly for meetings and training, complete all University Student Worker Training within the first 90 days of employment during work hours, and attend all Student Success Student employment training.
