Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Shelton, CT is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to support the student community as a comprehensive resource and facilitator. You will focus on student success, programs, and campus life by fostering positive attitudes and relationships.

You will advise students on academics and attendance, help in maintaining a conducive learning environment, and manage tutoring programs to assist at-risk students. This role offers growth opportunities in a hands-on campus setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate key retention statistics.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students on academics and attendance.
• Assist Dean/Program Supervisors to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Manage tutoring programs and assist at-risk students.
• Help improve student retention and satisfaction; provide feedback to campus management.
• Maintain current community resource information in the library to address student issues.
