Job summary

Lincoln Tech is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to support the student community and act as a comprehensive resource and facilitator for student success at the Shelton, CT campus.

You will work with the Dean and program supervisors to maintain a conducive learning environment, oversee tutoring, identify at-risk students, and improve retention while coordinating community resources.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents including regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate statistics related to student retention.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Confer with and advise students on academic, disciplinary, and related issues.
• Assist the Dean/Program Supervisors in maintaining a secure and educationally conducive environment.
• Manage student tutoring program while identifying and assisting at-risk students who exhibit academic deficiencies.
• Oversee activities related to improving student retention and satisfaction and provide feedback to campus management.
• Establish and maintain current community resource center information in the library to address student issues.
