Job summary

Lincoln Tech seeks a Student Services Coordinator to support the student community as a comprehensive resource and facilitator. The role focuses on student success, program support, and fostering positive attitudes and relationships to enhance student life.

The coordinator will advise students on academic and related issues, assist Deans and supervisors, manage tutoring, and address retention and satisfaction while coordinating community resources in the library.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret federal, state, and local regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and manipulate student retention statistics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Confer with and advise students on academic, disciplinary, and related issues such as poor attendance and school performance.
• Assist the Dean/Program Supervisors in maintaining a secure and educationally conducive environment.
• Manage student tutoring program while identifying and assisting at-risk students who exhibit academic deficiencies.
• Oversee activities related to improving student retention and satisfaction as well as provide feedback to campus management.
• Establish and maintain current community resource center information in the library to address student issues.
