Novel Prep is seeking a responsible Abridge Program School Advisor to oversee daily operations of the Abridge Program, coordinating among students, teachers, residential staff, parents, school admins, and program partners in Costa Mesa, California.

The role emphasizes academic support, residential program management, student engagement, and strong communication to monitor progress, manage housing operations, and ensure timely documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Educational Counselor, Academic Advisor, Student Services Coordinator, Program Coordinator/Manager, or similar education-related role preferred.
• Experience working directly with middle school or high school students strongly preferred.
• Experience monitoring or supporting students' academic progress is highly preferred.
• Experience in residential life, boarding programs, or student housing is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with students, parents, teachers, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple student cases and operational responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle sensitive student matters professionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Abridge Program across academic, residential, and student support areas.
• Serve as primary liaison among students, teachers, residential staff, parents, administrators, and partners.
• Monitor students' academic progress and attendance, and coordinate with staff to address gaps.
• Manage residential operations, staff communication, and documentation.
• Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and action items among stakeholders.
• Prepare regular updates for school leadership and program partners.
