Job summary

Novel Prep is seeking an Abridge Program School Advisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the Abridge Program and coordinate among students, teachers, residential staff, parents, and partners.

The role focuses on monitoring academic progress, supporting residential life, and ensuring effective communication across stakeholders. Ideal candidates have experience in education-related roles and working with high school students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in roles like Teaching Assistant, Educational Counselor, Academic Advisor, or Student Services Coordinator preferred.
• Experience with middle/high school students preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with students, parents, teachers, staff, and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support students’ academic progress regularly.
• Coordinate daily operations of the residential component.
• Serve as primary contact for student academic, residential, and program concerns.
• Liaise with school, parents, staff, and partners; ensure timely communications.
• Develop and maintain program SOPs and documentation.
