Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions seeks a dedicated staff member to support Job Corps program participants in Bangor, ME. You will meet with students bi-weekly, document progress, and coordinate services with other staff to ensure safety and success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some College in Human Services preferred.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Meets at least bi-weekly with assigned students.
• Student incidents are managed to protect all students from harm.
• Notes individual meetings with students address issues and planned resolutions.
• Notifies staff to coordinate services by memo, phone, or personal conversation.
• Dormitory inspections yield acceptable ratings.
• Participates in events, modeling employment skills and professional behavior.
• Assignments are completed within time frames and rarely require corrections.
• Student folders are up-to-date with service history to support goal attainment.
• Ensures student data is accurate and submitted within established time frames.
• Medical and AWOL removal logs comply with procedures and time frames.
• Dorm logs are updated with condition notes during rounds.
• Accountability documents and reports are accurate and submitted on time.
• Other duties as assigned
