Job summary

Wayne State University is seeking an experienced Student Success Project Manager for its Detroit campus. This role plans, manages, and tracks initiatives across multiple student success units, publishing charters and reports for the project repository.

Using predictive analytics and institutional dashboards, the position assesses student needs, focusing on historically underrepresented populations. The role reports to the Director, Student Success Operational Strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in higher education in student success, student affairs, data analytics, or related areas.
• Experience with project management software (Asana).

Responsibilities

• Develop reports for student success outcome measures and KPIs.
• Lead planning, logistics, and analysis for multiple Student Success Collaborative teams.
• Increase collaboration with campus partners to drive retention and completion goals.
• Analyze, track, and report on student progress using data assets.
• Manage workflow of ad hoc projects across student success units.
• Publish project charters and formal reports for the repository.
