Job summary

Diné College’s Tsaile Campus is seeking an Academic Advisor within the School of Arts & Humanities to assist ALL students in choosing an academic pathway leading to graduation, considering goals, interests, and prior education.

You will coordinate advising services, track progress, collaborate with faculty, and connect students to campus resources, registering them for courses and supporting persistence, retention, and successful completion.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in psychology, counseling, social work, education, or related field with at least two years of experience with adult learners in a higher education setting.
• Preference for MA/MS degree in counseling, social work, education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and coaching to help students plan degree progress and registration.
• Monitor student progress and maintain communication with advisors and support services.
• Assist with scheduling courses and student outreach.
• Support student services to ensure timely and accurate services.
• Collaborate across departments to connect students with resources.
