Job summary

Broward College in South Campus seeks a Manager, Student Services to coordinate wrap-around support for students by connecting them with campus resources and community agencies, and by leading outreach initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), five years of related experience including three in a college setting and supervisory experience.

You will work with faculty, staff and community partners to reduce barriers to student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• At least five years of general business or field-specific experience.
• Three years in a College/function-specific role.
• Three years of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees new program initiatives to reduce attrition.
• Analyzes student success issues with faculty and administrators to design programs.
• Serves as campus liaison with faculty and administrators for student success programs.
• Maintains a caseload of at-risk students and refers them to campus resources.
• Handles Seahawk Outreach Services alerts and self-referral intake.
• Organizes Student Success Workshops and related activities.
• Coordinates with Financial Aid, Student Life, Admissions/Registrar, Career Center and Advisement.
• Oversees staff performance, schedules, coaching, and hiring decisions.
