Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking an Academic Interventionist for Herndon Consolidated Elementary and Middle School. This contract/hourly extracurricular position focuses on delivering targeted interventions to identified students within a standards-based framework.

You will collaborate with teachers, the principal, and curriculum staff to analyze data and plan interventions, participate in professional development, and implement county-mandated intervention strategies while submitting required

Qualifications

• WV Teaching Certificate required
• Minimum five years teaching experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide intervention services to identified students needing additional instruction
• Collaborate with core and support teachers, school principal, and county curriculum department to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies
• Participate in and utilize professional development relevant to instructional delivery of a high quality standards-based program
• Implement and follow the county model in the delivery of instructional intervention strategies
• Submit required documents in a timely manner
