The New School in New York City seeks a Student Office Assistant for the Student Success Hub. You will greet visitors, assist with the check-in process, and help staff with general office tasks and ad hoc projects.
On-campus position with a focus on customer service, mail duties, data entry, and inventory support. Expected to work at least 7 hours per week, during 9am–5pm, with a pay rate of $17–$19 per hour under Federal Work Study.

We work collaboratively with parts of the university to equip students with resources and opportunities that allow them to thrive both academically and personally. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and help students succeed in an ever-changing world. The Student Success hub is our collaborative workspace that houses several units under the Student Success umbrella. Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Student Office Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors to the Student Success Hub, providing customer service to our internal and external clients. The Student Office Assistant will also be responsible for assisting in general office tasks and ad hoc projects.
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely.
