The New School is seeking a Student Hub Assistant to support The Student Hubs and university-wide events. The role focuses on operational and logistical tasks, including event support, bookings, and communications.
The position reinforces a welcoming student life experience in collaboration with Student Success. The position is on-site, requires a Federal Work-Study award, and uses Google Suite tools to coordinate activities, registrations, and documentation.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Student Leadership & Centers, Leadership & Centers Student Assistants will support the purpose and mission of The Student Hubs and the division of Student Success within The New School. This position primarily focuses on the operational and logistical support of The Student Hubs and University-wide Events, Programs, and Initiatives. Student Success is dedicated to providing you with a dynamic student life experience that complements your curricular experiences and cultivates your intellectual curiosity. We work collaboratively with parts of the university to equip you with resources and opportunities that allow you to thrive personally, professionally, and academically. Our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and help you succeed in an ever-changing world.
In-Person - Employees hired for this position have regularly scheduled, consistent time on campus and must report in-person to The Student Hub front desk in order to satisfy all job requirements.
Hourly Rate: $17-$19/hr
