University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks a Student Success Graduate Assistant within the School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW). The role supports the Student Success Center in recruiting, retaining, and graduating students, with emphasis on health and wellness career prep.

The 9-month, approximately 10-hour/week position involves coordinating communications, events, and individualized success plans for students, under the supervision of Becky Konietzki, SHSW Director.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble communication pieces to promote student success strategies and opportunities.
• Assist with the internal components of the prospective student communication plan, including sending postcards and contacting program directors with new admit info.
• Help coordinate events and career prep activities using Suitable/PATH.
• Meetings with students enrolled in HSW 100 to assist in developing their individual success plans.
• Represent SHSW at recruitment events, including high school visits, ViewPoint Days, and Admitted Student Days.
• Other duties as assigned.
