Job summary

The University of Mount Saint Vincent in New York invites applications for the Student Success and Engagement Coordinator at Seton College to support holistic development, wellbeing, and engagement of students and graduates.

Working with campus life staff, faculty, and community partners, you will connect students with resources, coordinate programs, and promote belonging while guiding transitions to bachelor's degree programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are obtained.
• Strong writing, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in crisis intervention or college access programs preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch student support and guidance to Seton College students and graduates.
• Build relationships with students and connect them to campus resources, organizations, and programs.
• Collaborate with Seton College and university staff to support student development and belonging.
• Assist students navigating academic systems, financial aid, wellness resources, and engagement opportunities.
• Develop and implement programs promoting student well-being, leadership, and community engagement.
• Coordinate and support major programming initiatives and campus events.
• Maintain records and prepare written reports as needed.
