Job summary

Educational Empowerment Group seeks an administrator to enforce school guidelines, develop discipline policies, and support attendance initiatives. You will work with the Principal to handle expulsions and intervene in student behavior to foster positive interpersonal skills.

The role involves collaboration with staff to create orderly classrooms, maintain a safe environment, and prepare required reports and handbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related discipline.
• Minimum of two years demonstrated successful leadership in an administrative position.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Enforces guidelines to maintain proper discipline and conduct.
• Assists in the development and administration of policies dealing with discipline, conduct, and attendance.
• Communicates policies and procedures regarding student discipline, conduct, and attendance to students, staff, and parents.
• Assists the Principal with student expulsions.
• Intervenes in instances of inappropriate student behavior to help modify behavior and develop interpersonal skills.
• Works with staff to develop effective classroom discipline and organization.
• Maintains an effective and safe school environment.
• Assists Building Principal with drills and emergency procedures.
• Assists in curriculum development to meet student needs.
• Prepares discipline, suspension, expulsion paperwork, and other required reports.
• Assists in selection and mentoring of staff; supervises and evaluates staff.
• Supervises support services and participates in school-wide initiatives.
• Represents the school in community forums to maintain support for educational goals.
• Notifies the Building Principal when maintenance is needed; performs other duties as assigned.
