Position Summary

The Student Success Coordinator's primary responsibility is to ensure student success, defined as academic achievement and graduation. You will play an integral role in students’ journeys at ECPI University.

Responsibilities

1. Create ongoing trusted relationships with students.
2. Initiate and continue guidance for students at risk of dropping out due to academic or personal issues.
3. Proactively outreach and intervene using various resources and communication tools.
4. Track student persistence and progression.
5. Consult with students interested in withdrawing or who have withdrawn.
6. Document student interactions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of related experience in academic advising, coaching, or counseling preferred.
• Equivalent education, experience, or training accepted.

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to build trust and relationships with students.
• Strong oral, written, telephone, and digital communication skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze and review data.
• Desire to help others achieve goals.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management software.
