Job summary

MIU City University Miami seeks a student-centered and highly organized Associate Student Services, Placement Coordinator & DSO to support student success, retention, employability, and F-1 compliance on-site in Miami, FL.

You will collaborate with Academic Affairs, Registrar and Admissions to manage SEVIS records, Form I-20s, and student status changes, while coordinating career readiness and campus events to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in higher education or student services is preferred.
• Experience with F-1 students and SEVIS/SEVP regulations is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Support student success, retention and compliance with SEVIS/SEVP requirements.
• Provide academic advising, tutoring coordination, and follow-up with at-risk students.
• Coordinate career readiness, graduation and employability surveys.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of student interactions and interventions.
