Washington State University Tri-Cities GEAR UP program seeks a Student Achievement Specialist at Ephrata High School. You will mentor students, monitor data for assessment, and support family outreach to promote college readiness and postsecondary access.

Role requires collaboration with school personnel and community partners, with after-school activities and flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for one year of professional work experience.
• Two years of professional experience must be in student services, advising or outreach.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Willingness to travel overnight and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide student mentoring and monitor data for assessment and reporting.
• Increase GEAR UP students’ engagement and postsecondary access support for students and families.
• Provide family outreach and education on college readiness and advising.
• Collaborate with school personnel and community partners; participate in after-school activities.
