Middle Georgia State University in Macon is seeking an Academic Success Coach to join the Student Success Center. This full-time role focuses on retention management, outreach, and early intervention for at-risk students while guiding them toward completion and lifelong learning.

You will mentor and guide students, tailor Academic Improvement Plans, develop supporting materials, monitor progress, and coordinate with tutors and campus resources.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of coaching, instructional and mentoring techniques.
• Ability to work with a population of students, lead groups, take initiative.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides mentoring, coaching, and tutoring to help students achieve goals.
• Assists at risk students with an Academic Improvement Plan (AIP).
• Develops course materials and presentations for group sessions.
• Monitors student progress according to success guidelines.
• Outreach to promote success strategies and connect with services.
