Job summary

Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, OR seeks an Academic Success Coach to support students in developing skills and habits for college success. The role provides individualized and small-group instruction to augment strategic learning and personal growth.

You will guide goal setting, study planning, time management, and connection to campus resources, while keeping FERPA-compliant records and reporting to your supervisor. Hours are part-time with potential night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree required, plus two years full-time teaching or instructional support experience.
• Ability to use Academic Coaching best practices and materials for delivering coaching.
• Excellent human relations, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills.
• Previous college-level experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group coaching to develop learning strategies.
• Help students set goals, study plans, and time management strategies.
• Maintain records of interactions and outcomes in FERPA-compliant form.
• Identify and connect students to campus resources and workshops.
• Support persistence and retention efforts through regular communication.
