Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in related field.

• Understanding of PBIS, behavior intervention methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates programs and activities to meet students' academic needs.
• Promotes family involvement through partnerships with the academy, parents and organizations.
• Provides information, training, and support for families and educators.
• Increases educators’ awareness of issues affecting at-risk/minority families.
• Assists with the academic assessments of the students.
• Assesses developmental levels to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Implements the behavior intervention plan based on collected data and individual needs.
• Collects and documents reports for student records to support intervention plans.
• Assists family members and school staff with behavioral and academic strategies.
• Receives referrals and background information for assessments and intervention plans.
• Serves with guardians, faculty, and student groups on educational initiatives.
• Performs record-keeping as directed by the school leader.
• Seeks professional development to grow as a school leader.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the school leader or superintendent.
