Denver Public Schools seeks an Attendance and Student Support Specialist dedicated to equity and positive outcomes for every learner in Colorado. You will identify student needs, consult with teachers and families, and implement interventions to improve attendance and behavior while reinforcing a respectful, inclusive school culture.

The role emphasizes collaboration with counselors, teachers, and community partners, maintaining accurate records, and reporting findings to school leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
• Three years minimum experience collaborating with other professional staff.
• Experience with at-risk youth and service providers preferred.
• Live in Colorado and able to meet physical demands of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Identify student needs and propose solutions for academic or social life.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and school personnel about learning and behavioral issues.
• Confer with teachers and parents regarding strengths and growth opportunities.
• Maintain a positive school environment via conflict resolution and restorative approaches.
