Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; experience in college/university advising or administration is expected.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to write and edit educational documents.
• Commitment to advising, mentoring, and guiding college students.
• Proficient with technology and various software applications for documentation and communications.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Counsels and advises students on academic programs, course selection, and major requirements.
• Collaborates with Career Services for research, internships, and employment opportunities.
• Provides advice and resources for study abroad and group information sessions.
• Maintains discretion and student privacy when communicating with faculty and staff.
• Helps move toward digital student records and supports SIS rule changes.
