Job summary

Creative Alternatives is seeking an Instructional Aide to support teachers and students in a California school setting. You will help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment and assist with academic and behavioral data collection under supervision.

The role requires 48 college units, an AA or BA preferred, and a CBEST certificate or ability to complete the Proficiency Exam within 60 days. Valid CA driver’s license and background clearance are also required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 48 college units.
• AA or BA degree (preferred).
• CBEST certificate or Proficiency Exam within 60 days of hire (three attempts allowed).
• Classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily student attendance and supervision.
• Support classroom instruction for groups or individuals.
• Collect academic and behavioral data as directed by supervising teacher.
• Transport students to and from school and related events when required.
