Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or related student service area.
• Two years of experience in academic counseling, post-secondary career planning and placement, or related experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic advising and support to assigned Paul College Students.
• This is a 4-year advising model where students are assigned an advisor at entry through successful graduation.
• Support students as they explore opportunities as part of their academic career.
• Guide students to option/major declaration in their sophomore year.
• Explain academic policies, procedures, and curriculum to students to meet their educational goals
• Guide student course selection and scheduling
