Job summary

LIFT Academy in Indianapolis, IN, part of Republic Airways’ workforce development program, seeks an Academic Advisor to promote student success through monitoring progress, onboarding, and resource referrals within the training trajectory.

You will audit progress, manage calendars, coordinate with instructors and examiners, report outcomes to leadership, and help students progress from training to first officer pathways.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• Experience in academic advising or related education roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and work with multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor student progress throughout the academy program.
• Maintain training calendars and coordinate scheduling with instructors and examiners.
• Provide guidance on attendance and performance; refer at‑risk students to appropriate resources.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation for new students.
• Prepare and present reports to academy leadership on student progress.
