Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College is seeking an ASC Coordinator to provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Academic Support Center locations and to advance the center's mission of promoting student learning, persistence, retention, and achievement.

You will coordinate tutoring, supervise tutors, deliver academic coaching, develop student success programming, and work with faculty to expand embedded tutoring and outreach initiatives across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Experience in academic support, tutoring, advising, student services, education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily oversight of assigned Academic Support Center locations.
• Coordinate tutor scheduling and staffing needs.
• Supervise part-time tutors and provide onboarding.
• Provide individualized academic coaching to students.
• Develop student success programming and workshops.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to expand tutoring initiatives.
