Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College seeks an ASC Coordinator to lead daily operations of the Academic Support Center across multiple locations. This role coordinates tutoring services, supervises part‑time tutors, and provides academic coaching to students to promote learning and success.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff to embed tutoring, expand student support initiatives, and track program outcomes to drive continuous improvement in student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication with students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders.
• Experience in academic support, tutoring, advising, or related services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned Academic Support Center locations.
• Supervise part‑time tutors and coordinate scheduling and staffing.
• Provide individualized academic coaching and study strategies to students.
• Develop and facilitate workshops and student success programs.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to align tutoring with course objectives.
• Track utilization and outcomes of tutoring services and support continuous improvement.
