Job summary

Indian River State College is seeking an Academic Coordinator to provide counseling and oversee Educational Talent Search (ETS) program services across multiple campuses. You will develop workshops, track student data, and support teachers and counselors to align with ETS goals.

The role requires collaboration with instructors, families, and college staff, plus compliance with grant guidelines and college policies. A valid Florida driver’s license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience with federal grant programs serving low-income and first-generation students.
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic counseling and oversee ETS academic support services.
• Develop and implement academic programs and workshops for ETS participants.
• Coordinate logistics for events, transportation, and facilities.
• Collect, manage, and analyze program data to track performance.
• Facilitate meetings with teachers and counselors to align program objectives.
• Support college admissions guidance and financial aid workshops.
• Oversee ETS instructors, tutors, and mentors.
