Vincennes University - Jasper Campus is seeking applicants for everyday staff positions. These are student part-time hourly and work-study roles with shifts spanning morning, afternoon, and evening to accommodate your class schedule. Location: Jasper, IN.

Reporting to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator, roles include help with gym operations and event support. Compensation is hourly and dependent on Work Study eligibility; standard hours range 8–10 per week for part-time students.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all equipment.
• Work at a variety of locations on campus (Ruxer Gym, JCCB Rec Room, ACE, or other event locations).
• Assist with set-up or tear down for events.
• Enforce gym and weight room rules, policies and regulations.
• Inspect the Ruxer Gym weight room and report unsafe conditions/equipment.
• Become familiar with all gym equipment in the facilities.
• Attend and participate in all meetings/training.
• Answer questions from visitors.

• This position will report directly to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator

GENERAL HOURS:

• Work Study Employee – dependent on Federal Work Study reward
• Part-time Student Employee – 8-10 hrs/week

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
