Job summary

Vincennes University (VU) is seeking Experience VU Peer Tutors to provide student-centered academic support and mentorship, helping peers develop subject mastery, study skills, and executive function strategies.

Acting as a dependable academic role model, this position fosters an inclusive environment that encourages independent learning, maintains confidentiality, and supports students with varied learning styles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate competency in tutoring subjects, study skills, and executive function strategies
  • Provide mentoring and encourage independent behavior

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Normal physical demands for successful work in a normal office environment: ability to sit or stand for extended periods, ability to utilize hands for general office work including typing, filing, answering telephones, and writing.
