• Inspect the Ruxer Gym weight room and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator.
• Become familiar with all gym equipment in the facilities.
• Attend and participate in all meetings/training.
• Answer questions from visitors.

REPORTING

• This position will report directly to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator

GENERAL HOURS

• Work Study Employee – dependent on Federal Work Study reward

• Part-time Student Employee – 8-10 hrs/week

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Clean and disinfect all equipment

• Work at a variety of different locations in the Ruxer Gym, JCCB Rec Room, ACE, or other event locations on campus

• Assist with setup or tear down for events

• Enforce all gym and weight room rules, policies and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification – preferred, but not required
