Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking a leader to plan, organize, and direct the operations of counseling services and related programs that promote student success and equity. You will supervise staff, develop annual schedules, manage data systems and reporting, monitor budgets, and collaborate with instruction and other student services to coordinate prerequisites, advising, and transitions.

Required: Bachelor's degree (or Associate degree and two extra years) and at least three years

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in student services programs and/or records management.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR an Associate degree from an accredited institution AND two (2) additional qualifying years of experience.
• Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds of community college students; foster an inclusive environment.

• Plan, organize and direct the operations of counseling services.
• Oversee scheduling, faculty and student appointments and data collection.
• Develop procedures, forms and materials; monitor budgets and reports.
• Coordinate with instruction and other student services to support student success.
