Job summary

Windham Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking a Paraprofessional to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional development in school settings. You will work closely with certified staff to assist instruction and supervision, and to track progress under student plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Must meet Praxis ParaPro or Title I requirements where applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond to students in a supportive, judicious manner.
• Experience with school-aged children and data tracking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Assist with instruction and supervise students.
• Collect data and support implementation of student IEPs or 504 plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and related staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
