Job summary

Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) in Rice County, MN, seeks a Part-time Student Services Coordinator for the Navigating & Coaching for College and Careers (NCCC) program. The role anchors in Faribault with some Northfield hours, including one evening until 6:30 pm.

You will build rapport with NCCC students, assist with postsecondary planning, FAFSA, and career exploration, coordinate course planning, complete degree audits, and track data to meet grant requirements while supporting youth toward

Qualifications

• Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience working with postsecondary students preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to manage time, attention to detail, and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with NCCC students and help navigate postsecondary education.
• Assist with planning courses and career exploration activities, including FAFSA guidance.
• Complete degree audits and outline course requirements and completion plans; assist with textbooks and supplies.
• Track data and support grant reporting requirements.
• Support Faribault and Northfield High School Alumni with postsecondary check-ins and opportunities.
