Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) seeks an Advising Associate for the Response Center. The role delivers in-person and remote support to students, parents and staff, handling inquiries across Admissions, Records, Advising, Financial Aid and other offices.

You will use college systems and policies, train new staff, and contribute to projects and events with a focus on accuracy and high service levels. The position requires flexibility and regular campus presence on Arnold/Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Experience training new hires.
• Ability to locate information using internet, databases and manuals.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service across phone, chat, email and in-person channels.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Records, Advising, Financial Aid and other offices as needed.
• Maintain SOPs, training materials and knowledge bases; attend staff meetings.
• Assist with events and special projects for Integrated Enrollment Services (IES).
